The first Poppies I grew many years ago were Perennial Iceland Poppies. These beautiful little Poppies just happened to be in the garden when I moved into a house. Since then my collection of Poppies have grown into many different species with over 50+ different colours, sizes and shapes.
My Poppy seed collection grew by being involved in garden clubs, mail seed swaps, farmers markets, Seedy Saturday and Sunday events. As well as raiding seeds from friends and families gardens, back allies etc.
I’m afraid that over the past 10 years seed saving has become an addiction!
